TeachingPlan Widget Settings

TeachingPlan Widget Settings

To edit the TeachingPlan block settings go to the ELIS Administration block > Admin > Widgets > TeachingPlan.



This brings you to the TeachingPlan widget editing page. Here, you may edit the settings that dictate how the widget is display and the information it contains.


Class Settings

Use these settings to determine which columns you wish to display for a given class instance.


Start Date: Enable this to display a Start Date column. The default setting is “Yes.”

End Date: Enable this to display an End Date column. The default setting is “Yes.”

Class Time: Enable this to display a Class Time column. The default setting is “Yes.”

Moodle Course Start Time: Enable this to display a Moodle Course Start Time column. The default setting is “No.”

Max Students: Enable this to display a Maximum Number of Students column. The default setting is “Yes.”

Enrolled (Waiting): Enable this to display an Enrolled (Waiting) column. The default setting is “Yes.”

Instructors:  Enable this to display an Instructors column. The default setting is “No.”


Progress Bar Settings

If desired, a progress bar can be displayed that shows the percentage of students have completed courses. The following settings are used to set up the progress bar.


Enabled?: The default setting is “Yes.” This setting allows you turn the progress bar feature on or off.


The next three settings allow you to choose what color you wish the bar to display for various levels of progress. You may select a different color for 0-49% completion, 50-79% completion and 80-100% completion.


You may select the color in one of two ways. First, by clicking on the desired shade in the large color field.


Alternately, you may select a precise shade by ending a Hex color code in the text box beneath the color field.



When you are finished, click Save Changes to apply your settings.
